BARKcoin.app (“BARKcoin”, “we”, “us”) is operated by the BARKcoin community. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our website and related services, and how that information is used.

1. Summary

We do not custody your wallet, private keys, or seed phrases.
Wallet connection is handled by your browser extension or in-app wallet (e.g. Phantom, Solflare).
When you use swap or reclaim features, your wallet address and transaction details may be sent to our API and to third-party Solana infrastructure to complete your request.
We use browser storage (localStorage) for preferences such as Heaven/Hell mode.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide indirectly

When you connect a wallet or submit a transaction, we may process:

Your public Solana wallet address
Token account addresses and mints involved in reclaim or swap flows
Transaction signatures after you approve actions in your wallet
Aggregated reclaim statistics (e.g. number of accounts closed, rent recovered, BARK burned) when you complete a reclaim and stats are recorded

2.2 Automatically collected information

Our servers and hosting provider may log standard technical data, such as IP address, browser type, request timestamps, and error logs. This is used for security, debugging, and service reliability.

2.3 Local browser storage

We store non-sensitive preferences in your browser (for example, Pulse realm selection). You can clear this data via your browser settings.

Provide Solana Pulse, token discovery, swap quotes, and rent reclaim features
Build reclaim transactions you sign in your own wallet
Display community health statistics
Maintain, secure, and improve the website and API
Respond to support requests via official community channels

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-party services

BARKcoin relies on third parties to operate. Depending on your actions, data may be shared with or processed by:

Wallet providers (Phantom, Solflare, and others you choose)
Jupiter and other DEX liquidity sources for swap routing and quotes
Solana RPC providers for on-chain reads and transaction submission
DexScreener and similar market data APIs for token prices and charts
Hosting and CDN providers that serve the website and API

Each third party has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of wallets and services you connect.

5. On-chain data

Blockchain transactions are public by design. When you sign a swap, reclaim, or transfer, related data is recorded on the Solana blockchain and may be visible on public explorers (e.g. Solscan).

6. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Essential technical cookies or local storage may be used for site functionality and preferences.

7. Data retention

Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. Aggregated reclaim statistics may be stored longer to display community totals. On-chain data persists according to the Solana network.

8. Your choices

You may disconnect your wallet at any time
You may refuse to sign any transaction in your wallet
You may clear browser local storage
You may stop using the site at any time

9. Children

BARKcoin is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. International users

The service is provided globally. By using BARKcoin.app you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions where our infrastructure and providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
